{Lily's 2nd Bday - Elmo Style}

Happy Monday!

Well, it's PARTY WEEK and I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am!  I can't think of a better thing to say other than,
"Keep calm and let's party!!!"

Yesterday, I was very fortunate to be able to style part of the dessert table for a very sweet little girl's 2nd birthday!  The theme of the {Par.Tay} was Elmo & Sesame Street.  Such a fun theme to work with, huh?  I designed 24 Elmo cupcakes for the dessert table, half of them with Elmo's face and the other half with Elmo cupcake toppers!  Have I ever mentioned how much I love cupcake toppers?  I think I have, but once again, they are simply fabulous!  Whether you like the way your cupcakes and frosting turned out and just want to add some detail, or maybe you're not happy at all, cupcake toppers can come to the rescue!  I was very pleased with the way these cupcakes turned out.  Have you ever had one of those moments when you take a a batch of cupcakes or cookies out of the oven and they look perfect?  Well, that is exactly how I felt about this batch!  When I delivered them, Lily [the birthday girl] took one look at them, looked at her mom and said "Are those for me?"  As a stylist, I can tell you that seeing a smile on a client's face once they see the finished product is the best ever! :)  Happy 2nd bday, Lily and a huge thank you to Neda for letting me a part of her little girl's special day!

On their way to be displayed as the centerpiece!

So, I am going from fuzzy & tickled red, orange and pink mode to black and white chevron mode!  Stay tuned, surprise 40th bday details coming this weekend!!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday weekend! I can tell you that mine was filled with plenty of tasty food, great company and fabulous sales!
XOXO
